Learn & Grow OT offers a range of services catered for your child’s specific needs:

 

Assessment
An initial assessment is conducted to gather information relating to your child, where we can then identify their strengths and areas that require support. 

 

Reports
Once assessment has been completed, a report will be sent to you detailing the results of the assessment as well as including recommendations and comprehensive strategies that will assist your child with their developing skills.

 

Follow-up
After the report is received; a complimentary follow-up phone call will be made by the occupational therapist who will answer any questions you may have in regard to the report. At this time, if applicable for your child, intervention options will also be discussed. This may include a recommendation for ongoing individual occupational therapy sessions, a referral to another more appropriate service or recommendation to attend group therapy sessions when available.

 

Classroom Observations
If your child is having difficulty when it comes to completing school tasks or with their general behaviour at school; through liaising with their teacher/s, an observation of him/her in their classroom environment can assist the assessment and intervention processes. This is done by identifying ongoing strengths and challenges.

 

Group Workshops/Programs
Learn & Grow OT offer a wide variety of workshops and programs in a group setting. The workshops/programs focus to build and encourage learning and development of specific childhood skills.
