Private Health Funds:

 

There are a number of private health companies who offer plans that cover Occupational Therapy services. Learn & Grow OT is an approved provider for most major private health funds. Please contact your private health company to enquire whether your plan covers Occupational Therapy services.

 

Medicare Rebates:

 

Chronic Disease Management Plan

Medicare primary care items provide Medicare rebates for a range of services provided by allied health professionals.

Autism Medicare Rebate

Medicare primary care items provide Medicare rebates for people diagnosed with Autism accessing allied health services.

Government Funding Initiatives:

 

FaHCSIA - Helping Children With Autism (HWCA) Package
The HWCA plan is set up by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist for children (between the ages of 6 years to 15 years) diagnosed with autism or any other pervasive developmental disorder. This plan consists of up to 4 assessment sessions and up to 20 Occupational Therapy sessions.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Self-managed and plan managed participants.
The NDIS provides Australians under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with access to supports they need to live the life they choose. Each person receives an individual amount of funding and is then able to choose where they wish to purchase their supports.
